When I was doing my degree in English literature I realised that my essays shouldn’t really contain that many references to Game of Thrones and Beyoncé, so I started this blog.

You will find lots of film/TV series/music reviews here, plenty of book reviews (all of my book reviews also appear on Goodreads), and an occasional irrational essay on a random subject that interests me.  I also run the instagram page @catswithbooks , which features a gorgeous photo of a cat with a book every single day. I read plenty of literary fiction and historical non-fiction, and I do love a bit of fantasy as well.
