Oh my goodness me…
5 years ago, I ambitiously made a list of 57 books that I planned reading by January 2023. Worryingly enough, it is somehow already December 2022.
So here are some books from the list that I actually own, and haven’t read yet. This is a much abridged version of the full list – I’m also not including the books that I have read and have not reviewed (all three of them, but whatever).
We have 18 days and 18 books. Let’s see what we can do (it’s actually 19 – we have yet one more book to finish, not listed here..)
1.Homer, The Odyssey
2.Plato, Gorgias
3.The Prose Edda/ The Poetic Edda
4. Niccolo Machiavelli, The Prince
5. Thomas Hobbes, The Leviathan
6. Henry Fielding, Tom Jones (re-read)
7. Tobias Smollett, The Adventures of Roderick Random.
8. Dorothy Wordsworth, The Grasmere Journal
